On Wednesday March 6th, SMART Photonics CTO Luc Augustin is participating in the panel ‘PIC Foundry Commercial Access: Prospects and Challenges’. This panel is initiated as a part of the OFC conference and worlds’ most leading photonic foundries are represented. The panel meeting includes a mixture of short presentations and discussion rounds. During this interactive discussions possibilities and challenges of market entry are explored. Present prospects and challenges of Silicon and InP-based photonic foundry technology will be addressed.
